Ann Luke - vet
Ann graduated from the University of Sydney in 1981 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. Ann grew up in Sydney and has been living in Gunnedah since 1990. Ann has two grown sons - George and Andrew who have left home. As well as all the animals she cares for at the clinic, she owns a beautiful German Shepherd called Jenny. Ann's outside interests are gardening and bridge!
Jessica Streater - veterinary nurse and receptionist
Jessica joined our team in January 2010 after completing her HSC in 2009. Jess works full time at the Gunnedah PetVet and is responsible for the cheery happy greeting you receive when you ring us! Jess has a love for animals and enjoys riding her horses in campdrafts during her spare time.
Jess has many animals of her own which include 3 dogs (Mini-me, PJ and Bundy) and five horses (Jacko, Destiny, Ally, Lexie and Dog). Jess is currently undertaking her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through TAFE.
Jess is the clinic's resident expert in flea, worm and tick control products, and is ready to be challenged to find a product to match your situation and budget!
Jacki Stewart - veterinary nurse (casual) Jacki helps out at the clinic when needed. Her skills with animal handling and wildlife are greatly utilised. Jacki does volunteer work for WIRES, and is always toting an injured bird or kangaroo or racing around the countryside to undertake a rescue. Jackie has 3 great kids as well as her menagerie of 4-legged, feathered and scaled friends!
Julie Palmer - veterinary nurse (casual) Julie has mostly moved on from the clinic but cannot seem to keep away for very long. Julie has worked in veterinary clinics throughout the UK and Scotland. Julie trained through TAFE and now uses her excellent customer service skills as a medical receptionist. Julie has a cute dog called Dougal and 2 cats Sooty and Molly. Julie writes songs and plays guitar.
